The M-series G2 has a reduced 1 kHz sensitivity which allows for better compatibility across the board with all commonly used audio interfaces with various input signals. This makes measuring and monitoring SPL a breeze with the M-series gen 2 being able to handle up to 140 dB SPL without distortion.

Built For Your Needs

The M-series G2 has the lowest phantom power consumption of any Earthworks microphone ever made. The 48 volt phantom power (P48) current consumption is now only 7.2 mA (reduced from Gen 1s 10 mA). This makes for longer battery life on wireless transmitters and increased compatibility with all commonly used audio interfaces where multiple mics are being used.
