If youre a fan of Trey Anastasio, then youre familiar with the DM2000 rackmount delay. Trey uses it to create an ambient loop called the Funk Siren! In 1983 it was called the most over-engineered delay of its time. This very unique delay with its Hold and Mod feature, is now available in pedal form for the first time. Justin Stabler, Treys guitar tech, approached us to try our hand at recreating the vintage delay. It would save him a lot of heartache because after 40 years as the old delays were not dependable. One of the many things that make this delay so unique is its modulation section. Modulation thats so dramatic its been likened to slamming your hands against the supply reel on a tape deck. The RK2000 Funk Siren Delay features presets, remote switching of Hold and Mod, expression pedal over any control, ping pong pitch shifted delays, and MIDI control.

The RK2000 Funk Siren Delay is the first-ever pedal recreation of the legendary DM2000 rackmount unit. Designed to solve the reliability issues of 40-year-old vintage gear, this pedal delivers the exact Funk Siren ambient loops made famous by Trey Anastasio.

  • Dramatic Modulation: From subtle warble to tape-reel slams.
  • Modern Control: Full MIDI integration, presets, and expression pedal support.
  • Expanded Features: Remote Hold/Mod switching and pitch-shifted ping-pong delays.

The Time knob controls the delay offset. Range is 1ms to 1023ms, or selects the subdivision of the tap tempo and delay time.
